Description
The cemetery chapel, built in the mid-19th century, is constructed from squared coursed rock-faced sandstone with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof with alternating fish-scale courses and a sandstone ridge. The gable copings are adorned with kneelers and pyramidal apex finials. The openings of the chapel have chamfered stone surrounds with pointed heads, and the windows are fitted with iron glazing bars. Each side wall, facing north-west and south-east, has one window that includes diagonal glazing bars and margin panes, with the central part of the window opening designed as a diamond-shaped, centrally pivoted casement. The gable window on the south-west side features Gothick glazing in the head and diagonal glazing bars below. Additionally, the other gable wall has a doorway with boarded doors that are equipped with iron strap hinges.
