Description
This building is a house located to the south of Lime Tree House, dating from the early 19th century, with 20th-century extensions. It is constructed from regularly coursed squared gritstone, featuring ashlar dressings, a quoined east end, an ashlar gable stack, and a stone slated roof. The south elevation has two storeys and two bays, with the second bay being a 20th-century addition that is set back from the first bay. The doorway of the earlier bay has a massive stone surround and a 20th-century six-panelled door. To the east, there are stacked 16-pane glazing bar sash windows with stone frames. The 20th-century bay is a single storey, topped with a Welsh slate roof and a timber glazed screen. The house is listed for its group value.
