Description
This is a house located at 32 Church Street South in Glossop, dating from around 1700, with 20th-century alterations and a rear extension. It is constructed from coursed millstone grit with tooled ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof. The house has a gable end stack and a rear wall stack.
The building is two stories high and has a single window range on the street front. To the right is a doorway with a 20th-century door, and to the left is a single four-light window in a flush ashlar surround. Above this, at the eaves level, is a similar four-light window, both of which have 6-pane 20th-century casements. There are quoins on the left side of the building. The left return has a single blocked two-light window on each floor. The interior has not been inspected.
