Description

The lychgate at the Church of St Paul, built around 1920, serves as a war memorial. It features coursed squared gritstone and timber framing, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The structure is square in plan, with gritstone walls reaching half height, above which is an openwork, gabled, timber framed section. There is a pair of wooden gates on the south side. Inside, metal panels are inscribed with the names of individuals from Little Eaton who lost their lives in the two World Wars. This lychgate is listed for its group value context.
