Description

The Orchard is a house dating from the early 19th century, with some minor later alterations. It is constructed of red brick with painted stone dressings and features a slate roof, which has a brick gable stack on the east side. The building is two storeys high and has two bays.

On the west side, there is a flat-headed, moulded doorcase that contains a panelled door, a plain overlight, and a bracketed 20th-century porch roof above. To the east, there is a glazing bar sash window set below a wedge lintel with incised voussoirs. Above this window, there are two similar windows, along with additional similar windows on the east gable wall.
