Description

The Parish Church of St Helen, located on Church Road in Darley Dale, is a building that dates from the Norman period to the Perpendicular style. It features a west tower with embattlements. Inside, the church contains Norman and Jacobean Gothic fonts, various monuments, frescoes, enriched Saxon stones, and a window designed by Burne-Jones. The church underwent restoration in 1877.
