Description

Darleydale Station, located on the north platform, dates from around 1849. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble with ashlar dressings and is a single-storey building. The façade features one three-light mullioned window and two arched doorways with fanlights, all adorned with hood moulds that extend as bands across the top. The building has dentilled eaves and end gables with moulded copings, kneelers, and ball-head finials. A stone stack is present, and the roof is covered with slates. The station is no longer in use. Darleydale Station and the Station Houses together form a group.
