Description

The Grouse Inn is an early 19th-century stone building located on Dale Road North in Darley Dale. It stands two storeys high and features two sash windows along with a three-light wood mullioned window at the center. The entrance is highlighted by a moulded wood doorcase, a segmental fanlight, and a Tuscan portico, which is topped with an attractive wrought iron balustrade. The building has plain eaves, plain end gables, and stone stacks, and it is covered with slate roofing.
