Description
Wingate Cottage is a building dated 1770, constructed of stone with rubble gabled ends. It stands two storeys high and features two sash windows with single glazing bars, set within moulded architraves. The lower windows have double keyblocks and modern fenestration. The cottage has a decorative band and quoins at the sides. The stone door surround is embellished with quoins and a pediment, and there is a circular plaque displaying the date above the door. The eaves are moulded, and the roof is covered with old stone tiles.
