SE 48 NW BORROWBY CHESTNUT BANK (east side) 9/10 PEAR TREE COTTAGE

GV II House. Early C19. Coursed squared stone, pantile roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Door to right return. All windows have stone lintels and sills, those to ground floor are sashes with glazing bars; those to first floor are 4-pane sashes. Shaped kneelers, stone coping, end stacks. Single-storey 2-bay block to left not of special interest. Included for group value.
