Description
The Wheatsheaf Inn is a public house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door set within a quoined surround topped with a keyed lintel. This door is flanked by 16-pane sash windows, which have keyed flat arches and stone sills. On the first floor, there are 16-pane casement windows with stone sills. To the left, there is a shaped kneeler and stone coping. The building has end stacks.
