Description
The Old Vicarage is a vicarage that has been converted into a private house. It dates from the 18th century and early 19th century. The building is constructed of red brick with a brick cement render and features a hipped Welsh slate roof with three ridge stacks. It is two storeys high and consists of a three by three bay early 19th-century block.
On the south elevation, there is a canted bay window on the left and a tripartite glazing bar sash window on the right. Above, there are three glazing bar sashes. The west elevation includes two glazing bar sashes on either side of glazed double doors, which are framed by a moulded stone architrave. There are also three glazing bar sashes above this entrance. The lower wing to the left has a dentil eaves cornice and glazing bar sashes set under wedge lintels.
Inside, there is an 18th-century staircase featuring curved tread ends, three turned balusters per tread, and a ramped handrail.
