Description

The churchyard cross at the Church of St Cuthbert is a Grade II listed structure, likely dating from the 14th century, with a restoration from the 19th century. It is made of sandstone ashlar and features a square base that is set on five circular stone steps. The cross has a tapering shaft with hollowed-out sides, and it is topped with a square lantern that has trefoiled sides, which includes a crucifix on one side.
