Description
The Cavendish Arms is a public house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick, mostly covered in roughcast, and features a plain tile hipped roof with two brick ridge stacks and a lateral stack. The building has a twin gabled rear wing that includes a gable stack and a dentil eaves cornice. It stands two storeys high with a three-bay north elevation. The entrance is off-centre, featuring a doorway with a moulded wood surround and paired pilasters, leading to a panelled door. To the right of the entrance is a tripartite glazing bar sash window, with a similar window directly above it. To the left, there are two glazing bar sash windows, with two similar sashes above them.
