Description
Slade House is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof, which includes a brick gable stack and a brick stack that rises from the pitch of the roof. The building is two storeys high and has a south elevation that consists of three bays, plus an additional lean-to fourth bay. The right-hand half of the house is from the early 18th century and includes first and second floor bands. There is an off-centre doorway with a 20th-century door and a flimsy wooden porch. On either side of the doorway are 3-light wooden casement windows with segment heads. Above these, there are two similar windows flanking a tall staircase window. The lean-to bay on the left also features a similar 3-light window.
