Description

Okeover Bridge is a late 18th-century bridge constructed of coursed sandstone and ashlar. It features a single segmental arch with voussoirs that have a slight chamfer at the angle. Beneath the upper walls, there is a chamfered string band leading to the road. The upper walls are made of ashlar and are steeply canted. The bridge has chamfered coping stones and square angle piers. There are later extension walls along the road that are made of more finely tooled ashlar. The southeast spandrel steps out in ten steps.
