Description

Matlock Bath Station (northern building) dates from around 1849 and features a timber frame with herringbone brick nogging. It is a single-storey structure with four tall wood mullioned windows that have "Gothic" cast iron glazing bars. The building has slightly advanced gabled bays on each side, gabled ends with bold verges, and overhanging, bracketed eaves, all topped with tiles.
