Description

Breach Farmhouse is a building dating from the 17th, 18th, and early 19th centuries. It comprises a timber-framed northern unit with later additions, presenting a symmetrical facade of three windows on its east front. The roof is tiled, with hipped ends, and the north side has a low eaves line terminating in a gable. The north gable displays exposed timber framing, brick-nogged, while the rest of the building is faced with brick in a Flemish bond pattern, including a first-floor band and a plinth. Windows on the main front are sash windows set in reveals, while casements are found elsewhere, though they have been altered. Doorways are plain.
