Description

Deep Well Cottage is a timber-framed house that dates from the 16th century and was altered in the early 19th century. It has one storey and an attic, featuring irregular window arrangements. The roof is thatched and includes one gabled dormer with a herring-bone brick apron. The exposed frame is mostly visible at the rear and on the south side of the west front, with brick infill. The other walls are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with blue headers. The windows are mostly modern casements, with one old metal window located at the rear. The doors are plain.
