Description

This is a house built in the early 19th century, as shown on an 1841 Tithe Map. It is constructed of roughly coursed rubble with a Welsh slate hipped roof and a central chimney stack that has been rebuilt with brick. The house has a double-depth plan due to a rear extension added in the late 19th century. The front facade has a symmetrical design with a two-window arrangement. It features four-pane sash windows with substantial lintels above. Centrally on the first floor is a blocked round-headed window, originally intended to light the staircase. The central doorway now has a 20th-century half-glazed door. Modern windows are visible on the left return.
