Description
No. 43 Bedehouse Lane is a house, originally two houses, likely built in the early 19th century, as indicated on the 1841 Tithe Map. The building is constructed from roughly coursed rubble and features a stone slab roof with red and black brick ridge stacks. It has a single unit plan with services located at the rear and side stairs against the end walls. The house is two storeys high, with each house consisting of two bays. The entrance bay has no window above, while the other bay includes a one-light window on the first floor and a two-light mullioned window on the ground floor, all framed with stone surrounds. The windows are modern flush casements, and a similar casement has been inserted into the former right-hand doorway.
