Description

The raised pavement located to the south of numbers 82 and 84 on Church Street North in Whittington dates from the 18th or 19th century. It runs along the north side of the junction between Church Street and Church Approach. The structure features a coursed stone embankment wall topped with stone coping. Centrally positioned is a flight of stone steps, which is accompanied by later-installed railings.
