Description
Nos 13, 15, and 17 Chevin Road are late 18th century to early 19th century industrial housing built by Strutts. This three-storey stone block features Nos 15 and 17 as a symmetrical pair on the street front, connected to No 13, which is positioned at right angles behind No 15. The connection includes a two-storey section with a segmental carriageway arch and one window above. The buildings are constructed of coursed gritstone, topped with tiled roofs and central brick stacks. Nos 15 and 17 have coped gable ends with kneelers. Each building has one window, with Nos 15 and 17 featuring an additional window on the top floor. The windows include both sashes and casements, and there are stone lintels above the doors and windows.
