Description

The cartshed, located to the north of the War Memorial on Derby Road, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed stone and features a slate roof. The open front of the structure faces northwest and is supported by a cast iron stanchion. This building has an interesting connection to the nearby dwellings typical of the Strutt family and the period.
