Description

The building is a gift shop that was originally a game larder, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a Welsh slate roof topped with a hexagonal ventilator lantern. The structure has a hexagonal plan and is a single storey high. It includes a plinth, a sill band, and a moulded eaves cornice. There is a doorway on the south side with half-glazed double doors, while the other sides have five broad square windows fitted with iron bars and 20th-century glazing. Inside, the shop retains a stone flagged floor and beams that still have meat hooks attached.
