Description

The monument to Michael Drayton, located in Kedleston Park, is a Grade II* listed structure dating from around 1760 to 1770. It is designed in the form of a vase set on a pedestal and is constructed from ashlar stone. The monument features elaborate carvings, including curved sides towards the base and decorative swags. The large urn has a fluted underside and is adorned with a foliage frieze.
