Description
The northern premises of Bill Lomas (Motor Cycles) Limited and a pair of adjoining cottages date from the late 18th century to early 19th century. This building consists of two storeys and is constructed from whitewashed coursed stone. It features a single-storey southern outshut with a shop window. The roof is steeply pitched and tiled, with brick chimneys at both ends. Each cottage has one sash window with glazing bars, although the northern ground floor has a fixed small-paned window, which may have been a former shop. There are two central six-panel doors, with the top two panels of the northern door now glazed, and a small sexapartite fanlight above the southern door. Stone lintels are present above both the doors and windows.
