Description
Milford Ebenezer Methodist Church, built in 1859, is a stone church that has a domestic appearance on the outside. It features coursed stone with moulded stone eaves and a modern pantile roof. The facade is two storeys high and includes three sash windows with glazing bars and stone lintels. The ground floor has large windows, while the first floor has smaller windows on a balcony. There is a recessed gabled side entrance bay with double panelled doors. Inside, the church has a plain interior with an organ located behind the pulpit. The property also includes 19th-century railings and gates with simple stone gatepiers leading to a small forecourt. The chapel is set back from the adjoining row of The William IV Public House and cottages, marking the end of the group at the triple junction of Derby Road, Makeney Road, and Milford Bridge.
