Description
Manor Farmhouse is a 17th-century house constructed from coursed rubble stone, featuring quoins and stone dressings. It has a Collyweston slate roof with a moulded stone central ridge and end stacks, along with stone coped gables. The building is 2½ storeys high and has four stone mullion windows arranged as two-light, two-light, three-light, and four-light. Above these, there are three hipped dormers, each with two lights. On the ground floor, there is a three-light window, a two-light window, a wooden porch topped with a Collyweston slate roof and a four-panelled door, as well as a five-light canted bay and a six-light square bay, both made of ashlar and also covered with a Collyweston slate roof. The house has two wings at the rear. Inside, notable features include an inglenook fireplace and a stone fireplace with a Tudor arch. Extending from the left corner of the house is a wall approximately 1.5 meters high, which borders the road and turns up by the right end of the house.
