Description

Welland House is a late 18th-century house, originally three cottages. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with quoins, and has a Collyweston slate roof, hipped to the left. The roof features ridge and end stacks of red brick, buff brick, and stone. The building is in an L-shaped plan, with a 20th-century wing added to the left. The front of the house faces to the right. The front elevation has one and a half storeys with a pattern of three casements across the facade. There is a three-light, glazed door within a matching frame, alongside three-light and two-light windows. Two 6/6 sash dormers are positioned above the windows, and a central, gabled dormer with nine panes.
