Description
Tixover Hall is a country house dating from the mid-18th century, possibly incorporating an earlier structure. It is built from coursed rubble stone with quoins, stone dressings, and bands, topped with a Collyweston slate roof featuring moulded stone end stacks. The house has a twin-span roof with stone coped gables facing the front to the left. It features two and a half storeys with seven 6/6 sash windows that have plain stone frames and sills. A central 20th-century flat-roofed porch is supported by columns and includes a two-leaved part-glazed door with an overlight above, and a keystone. On the right end, there is another two-leaved part-glazed door, 1/1 sash windows, and attic windows. The wings of the house extend to the rear.
