Description

A pair of farm buildings behind Firdale House, dating from the early 19th century, form part of a yard. Both buildings are constructed of coursed rubble. The single-storey stable, which faces the street with its back to it, features various doors and windows on the inner side, all with flat timber lintels, and has a pantiled roof. At right angles to the stable is a tall three-storey barn or warehouse that has double doors on the ground floor and several small window openings, all accented with heavy stone quoins and lintels. The barn has a hipped roof that has been newly covered.
