Description

These are a pair of cottages located on the north side of High Street in Morcott. They were built in 1800, with a gable end facing the street. The cottages are constructed of coursed rubble with a stone-tiled roof. Each cottage has a two-unit plan, featuring a central doorway and a two-light casement window to either side, with matching windows above. All openings are topped with chamfered timber lintels. The date "1800" is inscribed above the doorway. A brick stack is located at the rear gable end, and another runs along the ridge.
