Description

The railings outside Firdale House date from the mid-19th century and are made of cast iron. They are positioned alongside a raised pavement and the steps leading up to it. The main length of the railings runs parallel to the street, with each end turning west, and in the middle, they descend to the road to serve as a rail for the steps. The design features three rails and octagonal posts at each angle, which have slight bases, moulded caps, and finials.
