Description

Sycamore House is a house built in 1856, likely as an estate house. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, topped with a shallow pitched Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and a three-unit plan, featuring unevenly spaced windows—two to the left of the door and one to the right. The windows, including those on the upper floor, are 2-light casements, and all openings are framed with quoins and architraves that have stressed keystones. A date stone with the initials W.L. is located between the upper left-hand windows. There is a small outshut at the rear.
