Description

The Thatch is a cottage dating from the 18th century, constructed of coursed rubble stone with a thatched roof and brick end stacks. The building has 1½ storeys and features five dormer windows, mostly with 3/3 sash designs. The front elevation includes, from left to right, a 3/3 sash window, a six-panelled door with glazed top panels, another 3/3 sash window, and a 20th-century window. On the left end, there are two 1/1 sash windows above a two-light casement. The road-facing side has two additional sash windows and a one-light casement. The entrance is located at the rear.
