Description

No. 2 Church Lane is a cottage, likely built in the early 18th century. It features coursed rubble construction and a thatched roof. The building is single storey with a two-unit plan, showing signs of heightening and the rebuilding of the western bay. To the left of the doorway, there is a fire window and a three-light casement with chamfered timber lintels, while a new casement is located to the right. A brick stack is positioned to the left, and the right gable is coped and partially built over by the adjoining house.
