Description

No. 16 Lyndon Road is a cottage dating from the late 17th to 18th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone and has a Welsh slate roof with brick and stone end stacks. The building is 1½ storeys tall and has a T-shaped plan, with the gable facing the street and a wing projecting to the right.

On the gable, there is a glazed door with a 2-light stone mullion window above it. The wing features a similar window and a dormer on its front side, with a door located beneath the dormer. On the left inner wall, there is a 2-light casement window, and above this window and the door, there is a 20th-century sun-room. The right end and rear of the cottage have various doors and casement windows, as well as a 1-light stone framed window.
