Description

The Shambles is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century, with restoration in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features quoins, topped with a thatched roof that has a stone stack at the right end. The building is 1½ storeys high and has two sets of 2-light renewed casements, along with two similar raised eyebrow dormers above. There is also a 2-light casement on both floors at the left end. This cottage is included for its group value.
