Description

The Post Office is a building that dates back to around 1800, originally serving as a cottage. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone, featuring quoins and a Welsh slate roof with truncated stone end stacks. The gables are stone-coped with kneelers. The building has two storeys, with two centre-opening three-light casement windows above two 20th-century windows in the original openings. There is a door on the left end, and on the right end, there is a one-storey extension that includes a door, a six-pane window, and a 20th-century tiled roof. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing with a brick end stack and a one-storey extension that has a Collyweston slate roof.
