Description

No. 1 High Street is a cottage, likely built in the late 17th century, with an earlier core. The facade was altered in the early 20th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features steeply coped gables, topped with a stone tiled roof. The building has a two-unit plan with a central door set in a four-centred arch. The windows have been replaced but remain in their original openings. Above, there are two early 20th-century gabled dormers that have carved wood bargeboards.
