Description

The Nook is a pair of cottages dating from the early 18th century. They are constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and topped with a thatched roof. The cottages are 1½ storeys high and feature dormers. No. 15 is a single-unit cottage with a doorway on the right and a 3-light casement window to the left. The Nook, which is 1½ units, has a doorway on the left within a wooden lattice-work porch, a small 2-light casement window and a larger 3-light casement window to the right, and two dormers above. All openings are adorned with flat timber lintels.
