Description
Two mounting blocks located 2 meters from the main entrance to the stable range, built in 1794 and restored in the late 20th century. They are made of ashlar and feature a square stepped pedestal with a mounting block on the inner side, topped with a large ball finial. Each mounting block is approximately 1 meter high. These blocks are included for their group value with the nearby stable and service ranges at Wollaton Hall.
