Description
28 High Pavement is a house that has been converted into offices. It was built in the late 18th century and underwent alterations in the mid-19th century and late 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick, featuring a rendered ground floor, ashlar dressings, and a slate roof with coped gables and a brick ridge stack. Architectural details include a plinth, a cornice at the ground floor, a sill band at the first floor, and brick eaves. The structure has three storeys and a three-window range of original segment-headed 12-pane sash windows. Above these, there are three similar 9-pane sash windows. The ground floor has four plain sash windows and, to the right, a door with an overlight.
