Description
The School House, built in 1871, is a two-storey structure located on the north side of The Green in Clifton, Nottingham. It is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof. The building has two brick coped side wall stacks, a plinth, dentillated eaves, and a gable. The design is L-shaped with two bays. The windows are wooden framed cross casements. On the left side, there is a projecting gable with a window on each floor. To the right, in the return angle, there is a diagonally boarded door beneath a hipped hood supported by wooden brackets, followed by a single window. The building is included for its group value.
