Description

This is a group of shops and offices dating to around 1900, located on King’s Walk in Nottingham. The buildings are constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and slate roofs. The right-hand block is two storeys high and has four bays, featuring three shopfronts, one retaining its original door. Above the shops are seven windows. A rusticated round-arched doorway is located on the left side. The corner block features a curved facade with an original shopfront, including a recessed door flanked by mullioned plate glass windows. Above the shopfront are three windows. The building is topped with a parapet featuring an inscribed central pediment. These buildings were part of a larger development that included both the east and west sides of King's Walk.
