Warehouse, now architects' offices. Dated 1889. By Watson Fothergill of Nottingham, for a Mr Doubleday. Red brick, with blue brick and ashlar dressings and slate roof. Vermiculated plinth, sill bands, brick-bracketed eaves cornice. 3 storeys plus attics; 7 window range. Symmetrical front with central entrance bay and side bays defined by brick pilasters. Round-arched entrance with polychrome voussoirs, containing a renewed door and sidelights, with pink granite columns and stone mullioned fanlight. On each side, 3 plate glass windows with toplights, divided by grey granite columns. Above, a 2-light cross casement, flanked by 3 segment-arched plate glass windows with toplights. Above again, 10 smaller segment-arched plain sashes arranged 4:2:4. Attics have a central 3-light mullioned window flanked by 2 large pairs of hipped dormers with finials.
