Description

This warehouse and office building is located on St Mary’s Gate, Nottingham, and was constructed in 1907. The design was by Evans & Son and J Wollatt, commissioned by George Green. The building is constructed of red brick with brick dressings and a slate roof. It features a plinth, lintel, and sill band, as well as brick eaves with a wooden gutter. The windows are primarily original plain sashes, set within openings with brick flat arches. The building is four storeys high, with a four-window range. The ground floor has two reglazed windows with stone sills, flanked by framed panelled double doors with overlights. Above the ground floor are four windows on each of the remaining floors, with the third-floor windows being smaller. The building is included on the listing for its group value.
