Description

16 Thurmaston Lane is a late 18th century red brick house featuring a stucco band, cornice, and a small parapet. The house has a slate roof with gable ends and stands two storeys tall. It has three sash windows on the first floor, which include glazing bars. The entrance and ground floor windows have been modernised, with a central round arch double recess that includes a fanlight and flush panelled doors adorned with reeded moulding. Attached to the south end of the house is a small 19th century greenhouse made of cast iron, which has a round arch and moulded decoration on the end cast-iron members.
