Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century house located on the north side of Hingham Market Place. The house is built of stuccoed brick, with a low-pitched slate roof featuring gabled ends. It is three stories high, with three sash windows on each floor. The windows have glazing bars. The ground and first floor windows are set within moulded architraves, while the second floor windows are smaller. A central doorway is framed by a moulded case with a cornice hood supported by console brackets, and features a fielded panel door with glazed upper panels. A brick chimney stack is present. At the rear of the property is a 17th century gabled wing, rendered in roughcast, and containing a large brick chimney stack.
